Why TaLK The TaLK Program is sponsored by the Ministry of Education administered by the National Institute for International Education(NIIED), and supervised by the provincial/metropolitan offices of education(POE/MOE).

Under the direction of
government initiative

the TaLK Program fosters English growth and learning in under privileged areas of South Korea-areas with a lesser ability to and attract foreign English ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers. This strategic directive assists in balancing and expanding the excitement and access to English learning in areas where this opportunity may have been previously non- existent or limited.

Our Scholars are awarded
teaching positions in the following

- Rural Areas of Incheon Metropolitan City
- Gangwon-do
- Chungcheongnam-do
- Jeollabuk-do
- Jeollanam-do
Please note that the TaLK Office does not accept nor consider any placement requests, regardless of reason or purpose, and that successful candidates will be assigned at the sole discretion of the TaLK Office.
